Active use of renewable energy

With the aim of protecting the environment, the Heiwa Group is actively introducing solar power generation and wind power generation equipment in idle plots of land at factories and golf courses.
The total estimated annual power generation of these power generation facilities is 3.76 million kWh, equivalent to the annual power consumption of about 1,040 ordinary households.
By using renewable energy sources, the Heiwa Group is reducing emissions of CO₂, a primary cause of global warming. The annual CO₂ reduction equates to about 1,517 tons, establishing a mechanism capable of contributing to the environment for a long time.

OLYMPIA CO., LTD has introduced solar power generation and wind power generation equipment at its Gunma Factory following the factory's completion in 2005.
In response to growing interest in natural energy, the company expanded its solar power generation facility in 2013, currently operating it as a Mega Solar power generation facility with a maximum output of 1,435 kW.
We have also installed solar power generation equipment at our Akabori Factory, and began power generation in October 2014.
