The trading unit for our shares is 100 shares (= 1 trading unit), and shares less than this amount (1-99 shares cannot be traded in the market, nor can voting rights be exercised at the General Meeting of Shareholders. However, if you ask us to a buy back shares less than one trading unit or ask to purchase additional shares to reach one trading unit, you can sell shares less than one trading unit or obtain one trading unit.

Important points
- The buyback price or additional-purchase price will be the number of shares subject to the request multiplied by the closing price of our shares on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on the day that the request arrives at the office of our shareholder register administrator (Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation).
- A buyback or additional-purchase request cannot be cancelled after it has been made.
- In the case of buyback requests, we suspend acceptance of them from three business days prior to the business day prior to the fiscal-year closing date (March 31) and the last day of the first half (September 30) until the record date. We may also suspend acceptance of them for a period if Japan Securities Depository Center, Incorporated separately deems this necessary.
- In the case of additional-purchase requests, we suspend acceptance of them from 10 business days prior to the business day prior to the fiscal-year closing date (March 31) and the last day of the first half (September 30) until the record date. We may also suspend acceptance of them for a period if Japan Securities Depository Center, Incorporated separately deems this necessary.
- Even if you have obtained a trading unit as a result of using the additional-purchase scheme, you cannot sell the shares in the market if they are still in a special account. You will need to transfer them to an account at a securities firm.
